The SPECIAL PRODUCTS section includes all FITTINGS, NOZZLES and SPECIAL FLANGES made to specific customer requirements in the following materials carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium and other metals. HEAVY WALL FITTINGS are manufactured from customer specifications, or from accurate design according to the requirements of international codes, including ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME B&PV Code Section I, Section III, Section VIII Division 1 and Division 2, PED, RCCM, EN 13480, EN 10253 or others, and is supported by finite element analysis or calculation reports. In this product category, we have special tees (e.g. two, three or more branch outlets), special wyes (two, three or more ways, with piggability requirements), special caps, special flanges (e.g. swivel flanges, anchor flanges) and flanged fittings, and many other types of fittings designed and developed according to specific requirements.

M.E.G.A.’s forging and heattreatment division is capable of forging fittings (in a closed die) up to 4” 16 kg. The heat treatment furnaces and tanks are all certified to Norsok M650 and ASTM A991 standards and can treat any product that M.E.G.A. produces (large and small forgings, pipes and any other type of part).

Permette la lavorazione di tubi di diametro fino a 114 x 8 mm, ed è in grado di curvare oltre 180° con massima qualità di rifinitura, con raggio minimo 3 x Ø tubo.

Among the branch outlet fittings, the socalled MEGALETS stand out, selfreinforcing branch outlets with a traditional 90° conformation to the main pipeline. Depending on the different configurations, they are divided into LATROMEGALET that can be installed to obtain a branch outlet with an angle other than 90°. ELBOWMEGALET that can be mounted on a curve. INSERT MEGALET that can be welded directly inside the main pipe. All these types can be supplied with butt weld (BW), socketweld, threaded and also flanged ends.

PulStrand® 4100 is specifically designed for fast wetout, good processing, high glass loading and excellent laminate properties, to maximize customers’ processing and minimize their processing costs in pultrusion applications. OUTSTANDING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES Excellent shear and flexural properties in major resin systems, provide maximum part strength and long part service life. Packaging (Standard Reference) Rovings are available in a singleend internalpull package. Each pallet weighs approximately 1 ton. Pallets are stretch wrapped for load stability. All doffs are wrapped with TackPak™ for protection and to aid package runout and transfer. Full doffs are approximately 2021 kg (45 lb.) and they can be packaged in bulk or CreelPak™ format. Questa curvatubi ibrida è stata sviluppata per la curvatura accurata di tubi e profili. Gli assi principali prevedono una movimentazione elettrica, mentre per gli ausiliari il comando è idraulico.
